He is an Assistant Professor at the Centre of Bioinformatics, University of Allahabad, India. He is having 17-years of teaching and research experience. He has published several peer-reviewed papers and has authored several book and book chapters. He successfully completed various research projects as Principal Investigator, funded by Indian government agencies, i.e., SERB (DST) and UGC- India. He also involved as PI and Co-PI in some institutional research activities of National as well as international importance, i.e., RTG Big Data Research. He has received several awards and is also acting as Editorial Board Member, and Prestigious Reviewer for several journals of national and international status belongs to bioinformatics and computational biology area. He is a member/life member of several national and international scientific societies and attended a number of symposia/conferences at national and international level and presented invited lectures/paper there and chair the sessions. Since the last 17 years, he is actively working in the field of bioinformatics to solve various biological issues with the help of computational omics approaches. His current research is focused on the population-specific human genome and transcriptome analysis to predict the Pharmacogenomic variant and solve pharmacogenomics related issues.
